| Our ancestors, these
men and women of exception who left to discovered new grounds,
exploration and colonization of New-France. Since the whole first
trappers, until the English conquest. These Men and Women who built a Country, often at the price of their life. Il has the famous characters there, but also all the others, these unknown, which by their daily labours knew to create a cradle from where all these explorers left towards these grounds which are currently Canada and the United States. It is through their departures towards these new grounds that we will seek what could justify them or to oblige them to leave towards these unexplored regions. Courage that they needed to endure all these sufferings and deprivations. Through these crew of boats, we want to try to give starting points for each family. Of course we start with our personal ancestors who are them: Nicolle-Nicole-Nicol, Gauthier says Landreville (pioneer), Martin says Versaille, Richer says Laflèche, Lampron says Lacharité. But through them there are all those which are attached there in one way or another: filiation, meets, joint projects to see combat and common crossing.
